Are all the items authentic antiques?
Yes, we deal in antiques mainly from the 1700's to 1970's. Every piece we sell is genuine. We do not stock reproduction. We try to keep items in their original condition as far as possible and not rely on restorers. All items are in good, clean condition, ready to be used in your home, unless specified in the item description.
Are all the items on your website available in to view in your retail shop?
Most of the items on our website are also in our showroom in Clitheroe. If you are interested in a particular piece, please contact us before visiting to make sure it is here and available to view.
What are your opening hours?
Open: Monday - Saturday 10am-5pm. Any changes to our opening hours will be updated in the blog.
How do I pay for an item?
We accept payment by card, cheque, cash, bank transfer or paypal. We take all major credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Solo, Switch, American Express and Delta.
How much is delivery and how long does it take?
We can arrange delivery throughout England, Wales and Scotland. Delivery costs start from £30. If you want a delivery quote, please contact us with your postcode and we will get back to you with a quote. Delivery is usually within 10 working days.
Standard delivery is with a one man courier and it is a door to door service. If you require a two man courier, please let us know at the time of purchase.
Smaller items will be sent with a parcel courier. We wrap and book parcels in once a week on Thursdays. If you require an item quickly, please let us know and we can arrange this.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we can arrange shipping to most countries. Please contact us if you would like a quote.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a refund service if you are not happy with the item. This is providing that items are returned within 14 days and are in the same condition that they left us in. The cost of returning the goods must be covered by you. We will refund you on the items return, minus a small wwwistration fee. We can issue a credit note, valid for 6 months instead.
