Is all your stock on the website authentic?

Yes, we deal in antiques mainly from the 1700's to 1970's. Every piece we sell is genuine. We do not stock reproduction. We try to keep items in their original condition as far as possible and not rely on restorers. All items are in good, clean condition, ready to be used in your home, unless specified in the item description.


What are your opening hours?

As we are an online antiques business only, the website is open 24 hours a day. The Miles Griffiths antiques office is open 10am - 5pm Monday - Friday for all telephone and email enquiries.


How do I pay for an item?

You can purchase and pay for an item, along with delivery, online by card or PayPal. We also accept payment by bank transfer & cheque. We take all major credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Solo, Switch, American Express and Delta. For credit card payments by phone 2.5% is added to the total of the sale to cover the card fee charge. No charge for debit card payments.

At the checkout stage you can choose mainland UK delivery or to collect your item. If you are from outside mainland UK or overseas, please choose collect and contact us for a delivery quote. Standard delivery is a one man service and usually within 10 working days.


How much is delivery and how long does it take?

We can arrange delivery throughout England, Wales and Scotland. If you would like a delivery quote, please contact us with your postcode and we will get back to you with a price. Delivery is usually within 10 working days.

For Devon, Cornwall, Norfolk and Highlands & Islands, delivery can be up to 3-4 weeks.

Standard delivery is with a one man courier and it is a door to door service. If you require a two man courier, please let us know at the time of purchase.

Smaller items will be sent with a parcel courier. We wrap and book parcels in once a week on Wednesday. If you require an item quickly, please let us know and we can arrange this.

We can provide an overseas shipping service.


Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we can arrange shipping to most countries. Please contact us with your country and area code if you would like a quote.


What is your return policy?

We offer a 14 day return service if you are not happy with the item. This is providing that items are returned within 14 days and are in the same condition that they left us in. The cost of returning the goods must be covered by you. We will refund you on the items return.

In the rare occurance of damage in transit, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of the item.
