Large English 1940's Pottery Egg Storage Jar

This English piece of pottery kitchenalia would have been filled with isinglass to preserve the eggs. Dating from the forties, this egg jar / crock is in perfect condition and it features to both sides a printed image of a chicken with the wording Eggs. Also with carrying handles to both sides and a decorative impressed design around the top.
