English 18th Century Antique Elm Candle Stool

A lovely early, primitive Georgian antique elm candle stool. All very original, the stool top is one piece of elm that is rounded on the edges with four, tapering legs. In very good condition and a beautiful, pale colour. Known as dresser stools, they had candles on them and were lifted to light up the room and placed on dressers.
