19th Century Antique Brass Fire Guard with Nappy Rail

This is lovely quality, English antique brass nursery guard with an extra brass rail for drying clothes and a brass foot rim.  The lovely wire work features a simple wire swag design. Models like this are much rarer with this added extra rail. In very good condition, no damage to the wire and the brass rails are in beautiful condition. English and dating from around 1840-50.
