Large Pair of Neville Neal Laddder Back Armchairs. This is a super quality pair of large carver dining armchairs by Neville Neal in the fifties. Neal was an apprentise to the furniture designer and architect Edward Gardiner. In superb condition, both the Clissett armchairs are made in ash and elm with the original rush seats which are un-damaged. All pegged construction with scribe marks left showing. Both the armchairs are stamped by the maker. Perfect to use to dine or comfortable enough to use as armchairs in a sitting room.
