Early 19th Century Antique Apothecary Glass Bottle.
This onion shaped dark glass bottle was originally used to store, Tr.Aurant, which is a tincture of sweet orange peel.
English and dating from the Georgian period around 1810, this decorative apothecary glass vessel is complete with its original, gold leaf and hand painted label.
Some years ago, this bottle has been neatly drilled at the back near to the base, probably so it could be wired to use as a lamp.
A lovely onion shaped antique glass apothecary bottle, in very good condition.
