Early 19th Century Antique Cast Iron Castle Window

This English antique cast iron opening window casement is a fabulous, large scale and ornate design. With interesting provenance, originally from Walworth Castle in Country Durham. We have stripped off the layers of modern paint to reveal the bare cast iron. The window opens well and can easily be re-glazed to use as an architectural piece externally again or mirrored for a decorative antique for indoor use. In superb condition, great size and design. English and dating from around 1825.
