Superb Antique Oak Tripod Table - Lazy Susan Top

This is a fabulous, Scottish antique, mid 19th century tripod table, very decorative and well carved. Unusually with a revolving table top like a Lazy Susan, the top is made to unscrew off as a separate Lazy Susan for a dining table. Very well carved with the table stem featureing  palm tree carvings with a finial to the base and three shapely legs. The fret work table top frieze has a well carved oak and acorn leaf border with thistle heads and foliage. All in superb condition and all an original rish colour. A lovely piece.
