EARLY 18TH CENTURY ANTIQUE ENCLOSED OAK DRESSER BASE Ref:C504X
Early 18th Century Antique Enclosed Oak Dresser Base
This is a lovely example of an early Westmoreland, enclosed antique oak dresser base. Totally original and featuring three drawers over three cupboard doors. All the period brassware is intact to the drawers and cupboards, the dresser top is nicely moulded. Providing plenty of storage, when open you can see that the dresser has no bottom, this is entirely original and a feature of the Westmoreland dressers that woudl have stood on stone or slate flags. In very good condition throughout and this early Georgian antique dresser is a good, even period colour and finish. Ideal for a free-standing kitchen or entrance hall. English-Westmoreland and dating from around 1720.
