English 19th Century Antique Leather Fire Bucket

This antique leather fire bucket is a wonderful colour and is in very good, original condition. Featuring a copper rim and rivetted constrction, this 19th century antique fire bucket would have been filled with sand beside a fireplace to put out the fire. Still useful by the fire, to house lighters and kindling. English and dating from around 1870.
