This is a wonderful, large Edwardian Heals antique oak armchair, originally from an Oxford College library. This Heals antique armchair is made in solid oak which is a lovely, original colour. A good, ample size, perfect to use for for dining or in a desk or again as a library chair. A comfortable design, this Heals chair features a Chippendale wide shaped back splat, a dished solid seat, open arms and it stands on square legs. In superb, solid and clean condition and with the Heals of London makers label inset into the chair frame. Dates from around 1915-20.
