Antique William Morris Sussex Armchair

A lovely, 19th century, original antique Sussex armchair by William Morris around 1870. This is a very fine example of a Sussex chair and it is a lovely even colour, made in solid ash, this William Morris designed country armchair has well turned and shaped stretchers, spindles and legs. In very good, strong condition and complete with a re-rushed traditional seat. Perfect height to use for dining as well as a decorative side chair.
