2 Set's of Ten Rugby School Head Boy Antique Oak Dining Chairs.

We have two sets of ten of these fabulous, Edwardian antique oak dining chairs. Each chair features a Head Boy's name, well carved into the back of the chair along with the year date he was head boy. These chairs are from one of the oldest, independant schools in Britain, Rugby School in Warwickshire. Each antique dining chair is well made in quarter sawn oak, all are in the original finish. Sold in two sets of ten. They are all in excellent, strong condition. They date from around 1900. The Head Boys names and dates range from 1830 up to the twenties. Some being, T.B. Brocklebank 1863/ A. Ridley-Thompson 1908 / J.H.Gair 1874 / G.A.G. Pepperday 1909. They are very good quality solid oak antique dining chairs from Rugby School, sold in two sets of ten.
