Set of Six 1940's Dining Chairs by Edward Gardiner
A good quality set of six, ladderback dining chairs in ash wood and still in the original finish. Made by Edward Gardiner from a design by Ernest Gimson in the forties. All the rush seating is newly tarditionally done so they are in excellent, clean and strong condition. Gardiner worked for Gimson as a chairmaker before setting up his own workshop near Rugby. All six Gardiner dining chairs are solid and correct, a classic design.
