18th Century Antique Oak Settle with Squab Seat.
This is a lovely model of a Georgian antique period oak settle seat, originally from the North of England in the late 18th century. In very good, robust and original condition and complete with a feather filled squab seat cushion for comfort. This country antique oak settle features shaped and raised panels to the back, shaped arms and standing on square, tapering legs. Each leg is inlaid with a mahogany panel on the front face and the legs are joined by stretchers. All traditonally made using the pegged method, in very good condition and the oak finish/colour and patina is lovely and original.
