18TH CENTURY ANTIQUE OAK DRESSER BASE Ref:RC58F
18th Century Antique Oak Dresser Base.
This is a fabulous, English Georgian antique oak dresser base, one of the nicest and most unusual we have had into stock for sometime.
Dating from around 1750 and originally from the Westmoreland region, an area of North West England and one of the 39 historic counties of England, now known as Cumbria.
This antique oak dresser is a wonderful colour, the top is pegged onto the base a bank of spice drawers, quite unusual.
Another uncommon feature is the dresser has an inverted break front with a central flight of drawers, all having period handles.
The two large cupboard doors that flank the central bank have lovely, shaped and fielded panels, the doors can lift off their original, iron pins.
Along the front and sides runs a shaped, cupids bow apron, again an added extra touch.
A superb, English Georgian antique oak period dresser, in lovely, very original condition.
