18th Century Valentine Green Antique Mezzotint – The Fleece

A beautiful and rare dated 1801 antique mezzotint by the famous Valentine Green who was a British mezzotinter and printer. This antique mezzotint is named, The Fleece and dated 1801, it is a wonderful print of a countryside scene and mounted in the original, fantastic gilt frame which is complete with the original wobbly glass. This is a rare Georgian antique mezzotint, one is held in the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, United States. This one is a total original, in very good condition with just a little damage to the bottom right corner of the print.
