This is a very high quality, solid oak antique dresser, very much inspired by an Ambrose Heal design and with Guild of Handicraft looking metal ware. Made by the Bath Cabinet Makers around 1895 to a very high standard. This Arts & Crafts antique oak dresser is made in two sections, the top half has a moulded cornice with open shelving beneath along with two side cupboard that are shelved inside. The lower part of this antique oak dresser has a central flight of drawers, all run well and have the original handles. There are two cupboards flanking the chest, again shelved inside. The dresser base stands on square legs that are joined by stretchers and they finish on oak bun feet. In excellent condition throughout, a superb model, in good proportions.
