Beautiful 18th Century Yorkshire Antique Elm Armchair

This early Georgian antique Yorkshire country armchair is more unusual to be made entirely in elm which is a fabulous, original colour. A very good honest example, all pegged construction and having a panelled back rest with lovely carved decorations to the top rail. The back rest has a nice rake and with lovely open shapely arms on turned supports. Below the solid elm seat is panelled, a clever draught excluder design, to stop draughts going up ones legs. All in excellent condition throughout, a really lovely original example.
