Heals Edwardian Antique Oak Buttery Hutch Desk – Labelled

A very good quality, solid pale oak writing desk by Heals of London around 1920, part of the Buttery Hutch range of Heals furniture. In excellent clean condition and with the Heals makers label inset into a drawer. Featuring seven drawers arranged around the kneehole opening which measures 60cm high x 48cm wide. Each drawer runs well and has the original oak knob handles. Around the front edge is a lovely mould, a signature of a Buttery Hutch piece. This range of furniture was always particularly well made. Stands on original oak ball feet with castors.
