Large English 19th Century Antique J.P. White Garden Bench REF:C113M

Large English 19th Century Antique J.P. White Garden Bench

A fabulous English Arts & Crafts antique garden bench seat by J.P.White of The Pyghtle Works, Bedford around 1880. Most of his garden bench designs were always painted white originally, as is this one. A decorative design, made in solid teak, a very rare model, all pegged construction and in superb, solid condition. A larger model that features wavy back slats with a central heart motif, along with a slatted seat and a wavy front apron. A lovely 19th century antique garden seat that would have graced a Gertrude Jekyll designed English country garden.
