Late Georgian English Antique Iron Spit
A very original, more unusual model of a English early 19th century antique iron spit with it having a built in circular dish to catch meat juices. In lovely, complete condition, used to roast pieces of meat, this Georgian spit has a wooden handle and is adjustable in height for the spit fork, it has a tripod base and stands on spade feet. A superb example, dates from around 1800.
