Pair of Edward Barnsley 1930’s Oak Open Armchairs – Stamped

A superb quality pair of English solid cherry wood open armchairs for dining or desk work, made and stamped by one of England’s leading furniture makers Edward Barnsley in his Cotswold workshops in the thirties. Beautifully made, both are in excellent, solid condition and both are stamped. They have comfortable slatted back rests with shaped open arms, upholstered drop in seats and they stand on square legs. The cherry wood timbers used are a lovely original colour. A rare pair.
