Primitive Early 19th Century Antique Western Isles Armchair

A beautiful handmade antique primitive armchair, made in sycamore and ash woods, from the Scottish Western Isles. An honest model, in very useable condition. A lovely simpler design having a plain spindle back rest and arm supports. Stands on splayed ash wood legs that are joined by a plain stretchers. Complete with the drop in seagrass seat. In excellent, solid condition and all a lovely pale and even colour.
