This is a wonderful, Late Georgian antique original painted pine hooded lambing chair from the Fylde Coast in Lancashire. A very rare model in super condition and a lovely original reddy paint finish. Originally made around 1800 on the Fylde Coast, this is a rare hooded model that features panelled sides and back with the original hood and shaped arms with a drawer front below. In excellent condition, a good size and scale. A rare country antique piece of original painted pine from the North of England.
