Rare Regency Antique Papier Mache & Painted Side Table

This is a beautiful early 19th century antique decorative country house side table, a very rare survivor, made entirely in papier mache and then hand painted with original scenes, decorations and gilt highlight work. Hard to imagine one even attempting to make something like this now. It is a lovely design having shaped legs with a connecting flat stretcher. In superb condition and is complete with the original quality brass castors. A beautiful piece that dates to 1815.
