This is a superb quality, solid English oak Arts & Crafts antique settle seat of large proportions and with hidden storage within the seat. Beautifully made and all a very good, original colour. An unusual design having vertical oak back splats with two large oak circular discs with the back rest and lovely wide flat arms that are supported by turned oak columns. The antique oak settle seat hinges up with a large clean storage area within. In excellent condition, all very strong and original. Perfect for a hallway, boot room or entrance. Dates to 1870.
